The arched Khmer harp, visible on the bas-reliefs of Angkor but extinct for centuries, is reborn thanks to the work of ethnomusicologist Patrick Kersalé. Through his Sounds of Angkor project, he has reconstructed this mythical instrument, restoring its shape, timbre, and life. His recording for the soundtrack of Arnaud Roy’s game HUMANKIND™ carries this ancient sound into the digital world. A bridge between musical archaeology, contemporary creation, and the living memory of Cambodia.
